RESUMPTION AND REOPENING OF THE
ACTIVITIES OF THE GOVERNMENT-
OWNED OR CONTROLLED
CORPORATIONS

SIR:

This is to inform you that the persons recommended in your letter of April 22, 1942, have been entrusted temporarily on this day as shown in the attached letter in connection with the above-mentioned. In this connection, I wish to inform you that I have designated Mr. Shohei Kitajima, President of the Kinkwa Meriyasu Co. (P. I.), Inc., as counsellor to the Textile Department of the National Development Company in order to let him participate in the management of the enterprise, and I have also designated Mr. Jose C. Sanvictores, Assistant Commissioner of the Department of Agriculture and Commerce and Mr. Isaac Barza, Assistant to the Chairman of the Executive Commission, as advisers to all those corporations for the guidance of their business management.

As to the Cebu Portland Cement Company, I intend to designate a proper person as counsellor to the said corporation in the near future.
