RECONDITIONING OF RADIO RECEIVING

In order to protect the public in general from uneasiness caused by the enemy propaganda, the Office of Electrical Communications in the Philippines is considering reconditioning of radio receiving sets and apparatus in general.
You are, therefore, instructed to get in touch with the Office of the Electrical Communications so as to make the necessary arrangements before the reconditioning work is started, in order that instruction and guidance could be given to the public accordingly.
It is further requested that necessary arrangements be made with the Chief of the Electrical Communications for detailing several policemen to protect and guard the public in general during the said reconditioning work.
In addition to the above, you are also requested to complete the registration of repairers of radio receivers, etc. (Instruction No. 96), as soon as possible, since the prescribed Certificates “A” and “B” for listening in to radio broadcasts is necessary for this reconditioning work.
