TRIAL COMMUNICATIONS OF POSTAL MATTERS
IN THE PHILIPPINES

In order to ascertain the time required under present circumstances for the conveyance and delivery of postal matter between principal places within the Philippines, you are requested to instruct the Director of the Bureau of Communications to send trial communications between principal places and to report to the Department of Communications of the Japanese Army Administration the actual period of time covered by the trial test, with a view to studying the possibilities for improving and rendering a better interisland mail service in the Philippines.

With regard to the details for the dispatch of the trial communications, officers concerned of the Bureau of Communications will be informed accordingly by the officer in charge of the Japanese Military Administration.
