REGISTRATION OF REPAIRERS OF RADIO
RECEIVING SETS

You are directed to make a survey of all individuals and concerns engaged in the repair business of radio receivers and to submit a report thereof in accordance with the following:

1. Matters to be reported:

(a) Name, nationality, and address of individuals or concerns engaged in repair business of radio receivers;

(b) Location of repair shops;

(c) Repairing capacity of the shops (average monthly number of radio receivers that are repaired and/or that can be repaired) ;

(d) General outline of the facilities installed in the shops for the repair of radio receivers;

(e) Number of employees and laborers employed by the individuals or concerns; and

(f) When, besides the repair of radio receivers, other kind of work is done in the same shop, describe each kind and nature.

2. Date for making report:

(a) For the City of Manila and its suburbs: not later than October 31, 1942.

(b) For places other than those mentioned in (a) : not later than November 25, 1942.

It is requested that a preparation be made concerning two kinds of certificates (A and B), i. e., “Certificate of registration for listening to radio broadcasts” in accordance with the attached prescribed form. The certificate (A) will be issued to persons who have registered their radio receivers in compliance with the requirements under Executive Order No. 73. Instructions should be issued to said persons to display the above-mentioned certificate (A) at a conspicuous place at the entrance of their homes or premises. As regards the use of certificate (B), you will be instructed later accordingly.
