TRANSPORTATION OF GENERAL POSTAL
MATTERS BY VESSELS

You are hereby instructed to commence the transportation by coastwise vessels of all general inter-island postal matters handled by the Bureau of Communications, Department of Public Works and Communications, in compliance with the attached copy of the “Temporary Arrangement for the Transportation of General Postal Matters by Vessels.”

In this connection, it should be noted that no freight charge shall be collected for the transportation by coastwise vessels of all general inter-island postal matters for the time being.

TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF GENERAL POSTAL MATTERS BY VESSELS.

SECTION 1. The Bureau of Communications, Department of Public Works and Communications of the Philippine Executive Commission (hereafter to be known as Bureau of Communications), shall be directed to comply with the regulations set forth herein regarding the transportation of general inter-Wand postal matters by coastwise vessels (hereafter to be known as Inter-Island Vessel Postal Matters).

As to other pertinent items, the Bureau of Communications shall follow instructions of the “Dai Ni Senpaku Yuso Tiku Taityo” and the “Dai Zyu-wku Yasen Yubin Taityo.”
