ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 15

PRESCRIBING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE PROVISIONS OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 97, DATED OCTOBER 12, 1942.

Whereas, paragraph 7 of Executive Order No. 97, dated October 12, 1942, provides that said “Order shall take effect as of January 23, 1942: Provided, That the Chairman of the Executive Commission may, in his discretion and in specific cases, determine the effective date of the application of the provisions of this Order to a province, city or municipality where the local government under the Philippine Executive Commission has been organized after January 23, 1942″; and

Whereas, according to the Commissioner of Finance, all the internal revenue funds collected and reported up to September 30, 1942, have already been appropriated and expended;

Now, therefore, pursuant to the authority conferred upon me as Head of the Central Administrative Organization by Order No. 1, and upon the recommendation of the Commissioner of Finance, it is hereby prescribed that the provisions of Executive Order No. 97, shall be effective in the various cities, provinces and municipalities as of October 1, 1942.
