EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 28

EXTENDING THE PERIOD FOR THE PAYMENT OF REALTY TAXES IN THE CITY OF GREATER MANILA.

Pursuant to the authority conferred upon me as Head of the Central Administrative Organization by Order No. 1 of the Commander-in-Chief of the Imperial Japanese Forces in the Philippines, and upon the recommendation of the Executive Commission, the public interest so requiring, the period for the payment, without penalty, of real estate taxes in the City of Greater Manila for 1941 and previous years, or any installment thereof, is hereby extended to April 30, 1942. If such delinquent taxes are not paid by April 30, 1942, the penalties which would have accrued had there been no extension shall thereafter be collected, and payments heretofore made of said taxes with penalties shall not be affected by the extension herein granted.
