The Presidential Communications Development and Strategic Planning Office (PCDSPO) in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), launches the Quezon Memorial Shrine and Museum webpage to commemorate the 137th birth anniversary of Manuel L. Quezon, first President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines. The site features a short documentary film, historical and colorized photographs, articles, and other resources.

The short documentary film presents the life and times of Manuel L. Quezon and a short history of the Quezon Memorial Shrine and the Museo ni Manuel L. Quezon.

A compilation of colorized and re-rendered, historical photographs of President Quezon and his family is available in our Flickr account.

We have also compiled into a timeline the life and legacy of President Quezon. Available as well is his Code of Citizenship and Ethics that prescribed a set of civic and ethical precepts to be taught in all schools in the Philippines.

These can be accessed collectively through this URL: Our social media accounts—Twitter and Facebook—will likewise be promoting the page and its content.

We hope you find the material useful and to your liking. Please feel free to use them as a resource, and to share them with your readership.

Thank you very much.
